by Giorgetto Giugiaro has remained unrealised. Today that innovative concept is brought to life as the Bizzarrini 5300 Aperta Lusso, the first all new production car since the 1960s perfectly blending the elegance
of Italian design with modern engineering mastery.

Italy is renowned for exquisite and innovative design, along with being the source of the finest fabrics and leathers, and as the home of the world’s iconic artists. Bizzarrini has taken that Italian greatness as inspiration for a vehicle that
is an embodiment of art, design and luxury, coupled with a contemporary driving experience, bringing the escape of la dolce vita.
Whilst at Bertoni in 1962-63, a young Giorgetto Giugaro created a concept for a removeable roof supported by a now famous structural arch. That original collaboration with Giotto Bizzarrini finally takes form with the creation of a limited production of an open topped edition of a wide bodied 5300 GT Corsa.

In search of competitive advantage through lightness, Giotto Bizzarrini stripped all components and any luxuries not essential
for racing from his Corsa models.
Chasing the goal of delivering a beautiful,
super-luxe vehicle with modern driving dynamics to precision tolerances our engineering team have poured the best materials and refinements, finished by today’s best craftsmen, back into
a low slung, curvaceous, carbon bodied, Le Mans class winning Corsa.
Through the Aperta Lusso Bizzarrini have retained the revolutionary aerodynamic wide body that first linked Giugiaro, the virtuoso of design to Bizzarrini the virtuoso engineer
in a relationship that has endured more than 60 years. The drivetrain, electronics and interior are elevated to contemporary standards, along with premium weather sealing to deliver
an engaged driving experience often missing from today’s automobiles.

The Aperta Lusso delivers the elegant beauty and sumptuous lines of what was arguably
the most memorable era of automotive design, with the engineering, features and driving engagement tastefully updated to deliver what will be a true icon of automotive art.
This first commission is named La Dolce Vita, born from the client’s desire to escape, disconnecting from the notifications of modern life, a way to clear his mind and reset through the purity of really driving a car as a choice not a chore.
Just as Giotto Bizzarini was renowned for his exclusive commissions, today Bizzarrini are inviting visionary individuals to express their unique style and imagination in a creative collaboration to deliver a new masterpiece.
